NEOROCKS includes two Advisory Boards, with different and very important roles.
Scientific Advisory Panel
The Scientific Advisory Panel is an external group, composed of prominent exponents of the international NEO community.
The panel supervises project activities, giving their expert advice on the work flow and on possible improvements. Their help and advice will be also instrumental in disseminating the project findings and recommendations in the international forums
The panel is composed of three members:
Robert Jedicke, expert on NEO discovery and characterisation, University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy.
Marco Micheli, expert in NEO observations, ESA NEOCC.
Federica Spoto, expert in NEO dynamics, CfA, Harvard & Smithsonian.
Security Advisory Board
A Security Advisory Board reviews project deliverables, assesses whether they include any security sensitive information and propose measures for preventing the misuse of information.
The SAB is composed of three members, as follows:
Alessandro Rossi, IFAC-CNR.
Stijn Lemmens, ESA-ESOC.
Christophe Bonnal, CNES.
